Thirteen days have passed since our last post (hey, we’re still pretty busy) but there are some updates which we can’t pass up publicizing:
- Ubuntu 9.04 – After a brief “beta” period over the weekend (we try not to avoid official releases when our system administrators are on-call over the weekends – they like to get rest when they can, after all) we’re pleased to announce the availability of Ubuntu 9.04 “Jaunty Jackalope” for both OpenVZ and Xen VPS platforms
- VPSLink Contest – We’ll be offering a year of free hosting on a Link-3 as the grand prize for our contest (it’ll be big – and it starts tomorrow) – check back tomorrow for an official announcement and, in the meantime, keep an eye out for any particularly interesting 404 pages you may happen across (geeks that we are, we’ll be awarding the grand prize to whomever can provide a link to the most awesome 404 page)
- Link-1 / Link-2 Ultra-lightweight Webserver – Plans are in the works to put together a pre-configured OS template which will cater to the hosting needs of plans which have a particularly small memory footprint
